Hey whats up, my name is Stefanie, and I just decided to be a Gator this coming fall. I'm Jewish, and hoping to get some insight on campus life at UofF. Are there any Jewish sororities, any info that maybe incoming freshmen aren't privy to? How do you all like the school? If someone could lend me their insight, it would be awesome.

i have some friends in aephi they love it...sorority week is the week before classes start if u want to rush right away...the campus is amazing...im from miami and i chose it purely because of the architecture...all of the other universities have all these modern buildings and i love the northeastern type architecture...hmmm...i dunno i think that anything else would pertain to where u were planning on living and ur major...oh and we just had a new hillel center built across from campus...its a gorgeous center...well congrats on ur acceptance..after all its great to be a florida gator...wow i never thought that i could get that corny...

As far as sororities go, Alpha Epsilon Phi and Delta Phi Epsilon are both predominantly Jewish at UF. On a national level, AEPhi is historically Jewish, and DPhiE is historically non-sectarian. Alpha Omicron Pi and Kappa Alpha Theta at both have sizeable Jewish populations, but aren't specifically "Jewish houses." On a national level, Theta is historically Christian, and AOPi is historically non-sectarian.

There are however, so many Jewish women in sororities at UF that you're sure to find a bunch in every house, even if its not one of the ones I've mentioned. Just go into recruitment with an open mind and choose the house that you feel most comfortable at.
